Our Quiz Maker system stores participant details, test scores, completion dates, and other evaluation information.

Our website uses technical services that may process information about your device, browser, website activity, approximate location, and IP address.
Quiz Maker has been configured not to store IP addresses in new test-result records. Other systems, including hosting services, may still process technical information for security or operational purposes.

6. Data Retention

Spanish Level Test results, including participants’ names, email addresses, scores, and completion dates, are subject to a six-month retention period. Quiz Maker has been configured to delete results older than six months.

When visitors request our free Spanish Workbook, their names, email addresses, requested files, and registration dates are recorded. These records are retained for up to 12 months and are reviewed periodically for manual deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

When visitors contact Hola Meli through our website, their names, email addresses, and messages are delivered to contacto@holameli.com.
We generally retain contact enquiries and related email correspondence for up to 12 months after the last communication, unless longer retention is necessary for ongoing lessons, contractual obligations, or applicable legal requirements.
Messages are reviewed periodically and deleted manually when they are no longer needed.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and improve our educational content.
Our Google Analytics property is configured to retain user-level and event-level data for 14 months, after which this data is automatically deleted according to Google’s retention processes.
The option to reset user data retention upon new activity is disabled.
These retention settings do not apply to standard aggregated analytics reports, which may remain available for longer periods.

We use UpdraftPlus to create regular backups of our website for security, maintenance, and recovery purposes.
Database backups are scheduled daily, while website file backups are scheduled weekly. Our backup settings retain two scheduled copies of each type.
Additional manual or protected backups may be retained for longer periods until they are reviewed and deleted.
Personal information previously deleted from our active systems may temporarily remain in backup copies until those backups are replaced or deleted.

Information may need to be retained longer when required by applicable law or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
